On the back of the image, there is a handwritten note of a year in the 1970s (the last number is smudged out). However, according to her website, this piece premiered in 1981. Based on the website and the chronology in Anna Halprin: Experience as Dance (Ross, 2007), cataloger is assuming date to be circa 1981.
