Intensive Care, Reflections on Death and Dying

Intensive Care: Reflections on Death and Dying drew directly from Anna Halprin's personal experiences following her husband's hospitalization in 1998. The work premiered on June 2, 2000 at the Cowell Theatre in San Francisco and the original choreographers and performers included Anna, Lakshmi Aysola, David Greenaway, and Jeff Rehg, with music by Miguel Frasconi and voice work by Carol Swann. Intensive Care: Reflections on Death and Dying has been subsequently revived and is considered an ongoing work.
